Electrical signature analysis algorithms

Being active in electric machinery fault diagnostics regarding a relatively new condition monitoring technology such as Electrical Signature Analysis implies that there is still a range of opportunities in terms of algorithm optimalisation and transformation.

For example, ORBITS has a unique algorithm in order to retransform the acquired voltage and current signals into electrical vibration signals representing the torsional and lateral vibrations of the rotor with respect to the stator. Additionally, a novel approach allows us to define the electric machine as a dynamic system, independent of voltage and current signal variations. Continuous improvement of our diagnostic capabilities is one of our key strategic daily activities.
