Bachelor Students Amp Up Orbits' Measuring Game

We’re thrilled to have a group of talented bachelor engineering students join us every Friday in the second semester. Together, we’re building a standalone measurement box that can be sent to our customers. The goal is to enable customers to measure and store current and voltage readings in a specific way, allowing us to process the data using Orbits’ algorithms. While measuring current and voltage is not overly complex, we want to ensure that technical personnel can easily perform the measurements using this equipment. That’s where the dummy-proof human machine interface (HMI) comes in, assisting customers with successful ESA measurements.

This is a challenging and exciting multidisciplinary project, requiring us to consider everything from measurement techniques and hardware decisions to software development and user interface design. We’re looking forward to seeing the final result at the end of the semester!
